About Me
I am an Assistant Professor at William & Mary, where I have been a faculty member in the Linguistics program since 2016. I graduated from Smith College in 2009, and earned my PhD in Linguistics in 2015 from the University of Maryland.
My primary research interests are in word learning, in particular how the learner weighs different cues to word meanings. My work has investigated children's use of syntactic, pragmatic, phonological, and visual cues for word learning.
I direct the Child Language Lab at William & Mary. Email us at childlanguage@wm.edu, or click here to sign up to participate in a study!
